Armenia-Azerbaijan Delimitation Talks Progress: 5th Border Meeting Convenes
The 5th meeting of the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security between Armenia and Azerbaijan, along with the State Commission on Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, took place on November 30 at the border of the two countries. The Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Mher Grigoryan, and the Azerbaijani counterpart, Shahin Mustafayev, chaired the meeting.
During the meeting, both sides continued discussing border delimitation issues and addressed various organizational and procedural matters.
The parties reached pre-agreements on the working procedure for organizing and conducting meetings and joint working sessions between the commissions. They also decided to start work on coordinating the draft regulation for the joint activities of these commissions and agreed to increase the frequency of their meetings. Additionally, plans were made to determine the date and venue for the next meeting of these commissions.
